On May 21-23, 2024, the "2024 National Nitrate Ammonium Industry Work Conference and Nitrate Calcium Magnesium Fertilizer Sub Conference Work Conference" hosted by the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association was grandly held in Changzhi, Shanxi. Chen Zhenying, Deputy General Manager of Hebei Jiheng Sairui Chemical Co., Ltd., and Feng Xipeng, Minister of Production, were invited to attend this meeting.

    At the meeting, association leaders, industry experts, production and equipment technology enterprises exchanged views on the production and operation, advanced technology, safety management, market and industry development, and promotion of new fertilizers in nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, nitro fertilizer, nitro calcium magnesium fertilizer, and downstream related industries. At the same time, the association commended the top 10 national ammonium nitrate production enterprises in 2023 and the top 10 national nitrofertilizer production enterprises in 2023. Among them, Hebei Jiheng Sairui Chemical Co., Ltd. ranked sixth in two industries and was awarded two honors: "Top 10 Enterprises in National Ammonium Nitrate Production in 2023" and "Top 10 Enterprises in National Nitrate Compound Fertilizer Production in 2023".

    At this meeting, Gu Zongqin, Chairman of the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Developing New Quality Productivity and Realizing High Quality Development of the Industry". He pointed out that in 2023, the overall operation of China's ammonium nitrate industry was stable, the production situation was stable, the safety situation was controllable, the market prices were reasonable, and the entire industry achieved satisfactory performance. However, due to various factors such as internal and external conditions, the industry has a series of new problems and challenges such as overcapacity, weak demand, and weak competitiveness. The next focus of the domestic ammonium nitrate industry is to strictly control new production capacity, build a safety production barrier in the industry, adhere to innovative development and green low-carbon routes, and maintain stable and healthy market development. He emphasized that nitric acid and ammonium nitrate are traditional industries widely used in various fields of the national economy and play a very important role in social development. Ammonium nitrate enterprises should not forget their original intention and keep in mind their mission. In accordance with the requirements of the new era, they should explore and innovate, accelerate the development of new productive forces, strive to improve the level of safety production, make non-traditional achievements in traditional industries, and promote the high-quality development of the industry.

   The convening of this meeting has a positive promoting effect on strengthening communication and efficient development among domestic ammonium nitrate enterprises.
